Born in Fort Pierce, FL, J-Town grew up listening to his father, who was a musician in Haiti. J- Town's father was a singer and guitar player and passed those talents onto his son. This was J- Town's initial inspiration to become an artist. He also draws inspiration from established artists like Usher, Nelly, and Trey Songz to create his unique take on music.
